The short version: come for a long overdue get together! I've got things to share of which I don't believe you've even dreamed. Phone or email to let me know how many'll accompany you since I'll be making you dinner and need to know how much to cook. I'm at 360 825-3413 or ronald@foxinternet.net. The longer version that was a sheer delight to write, follows below.

I certainly do not sit down and plan lapses like this long one from early Summer—even earlier—until now, but we all know that sometimes they are as unavoidable as life's major surprises. And I'm glad to say I'm not just back, but way beyond that—ahead to a new and more able place. And you? For, our community seems to have had lapses in all directions. May yours have already come out ahead or may it do that.

Time, I'd say, to not just get together and get going again but more than that— go to some new places that make a difference in the altogether of things. To do it together or, at least, in touch.

I know I'm one with words; for me they can be as much an action as anything if the talk is walked. So come to talk or listen, to show your story or tell it or just give a good ear. But come. I have some observations, not only about my life but the whole. And it’s a whole bearing a lot of, sometimes nervous, scrutiny nowadays. Even one very good and very intelligent friend who is so nervous he has just given up—telling me he has imploded instead of exploded.

Not only do I fail to agree with that, I feel the time is unusually ripe for a solution down to the very roots. That we are confronted with such apparent, such seeming impossibilities exactly to push our face into this root solution. More on it all when we meet, but not a lot of words, no no, just a very few to a very sharp point.

And what a meeting it can be! A new discovery in Tai Chi made in the most trivial of ways that just, in fact, may line all of William Chen's discoveries up to be included almost automatically. Yes! And a Yoga practice with personal bests coming at this time in my life because of running into an attitude that changes the landscape out of which the postures are done. So our workout hour ought to be very interesting, indeed.

The dinner I'll be preparing you has a dish I've never included in a dinner before. And with ingredients in that dish which are radical firsts, too. Of course, I've tried it out and confess it's one of the greatest things I've ever tasted. But this means you ought to let me know you are coming, and how many will be in your party, so I can make enough dinner—call or email by Thursday noon on the 9th. That's 360 825-3413 or ronald@foxinternet.net . I say ought because we all know if you don't get the call made there's usually an extra plate an' I'll be glad to be surprised by your arrival. Mainly, helpful as a call is, just come.

And I'll be going for gold in the videos and DVDs. To offer a night we will remember well.

Also, I'll bring a quantity of books and magazines that'll be yours for whatever price you name. Like we've had before, but quite a large number for your selection.

There never was a better time to bring someone new. I'll give them a properly full introduction to these two great arts of Tai Chi and Yoga, and be very happy to meet them.

I've got to say it: what a miracle of joy this life of ours can be! See you on the 11th?
